Ligia França's fourth album was the first to be recorded in Natal / Brazil in 2015. It was published in Italy a few months later, in early 2016. The longing for the musical atmosphere of her city, to live the music at home, among friends, was the main motivation to develop this project. The songs composed mostly in the 30s and 40s of the last century, which inhabit the affective memory of the singer's childhood and are therefore chosen, gain contemporary clothing and at the same time retain their own truth. Ligia throughout her recording career aims to promote in Italy musics that abroad are much less known than they should be. Rare pearls of Ary Barroso, Herivelto Martins, Noel Rosa, Dorival Caymmi and other greats of that period were searched for by the singer. The occasion of this recording in the land itself underlines the characteristics of this deeply Brazilian repertoire that echoes in the soul of Ligia França, enhancing its interpretive intensity and conquering for this precious musical universe anyone who has the opportunity to hear it on the album or, even better, live.
